our story

Isle of Cora is an Australian brand founded in 2024, based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I was tired of jewellery that tarnished after wearing it only a few times, so I sought out a better alternative, that was also affordable.

All our jewellery is waterproof, tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic and nickel free. We truly believe in making jewellery of a higher quality that lasts, not only so you can wear it longer but also to avoid adding to landfill, we chose gold filled materials for this reason.

what is gold filled

gold filled is the best alternative to solid gold, it is a very thick layer of pure gold that is pressure bonded to a base metal making it stick permanently (unlike gold plating). gold filled pieces have up to 100 x more gold than plated items, and the gold is pure!

can I shower in my Isle of cora jewellery

yes! you can shower, swim, sweat & sleep in your gold filled Isle of Cora jewellery. Although some chemicals can react with the gold, if you are not sure remove your jewellery or wash with mild soapy water afterwards.

our packaging

our packaging is minimal where possible, all pieces are shipped attached to a backing card and placed inside an Isle of Cora pouch, before being carefully packed into our recyclable mailer boxes.

Shipping and delivery

we offer local delivery to postcodes 2102 & 2103 of the northern beaches, all other items are sent via Australia post. Click and collect is also available.

Where possible all orders placed before 12noon will be sent out the same day. Please note this is subject to change during peak times such as Christmas or during a sale. Please check the banner at the top of our website for any updates on shipping and handling times. 

returns

we accept returns for 30 days from the date of purchase. excluding earring purchases, due to hygiene. please arrange returns with us by emailing hello@isleofcora.com.au
